Note: In this section we describe the internal functioning of the old communication protocol. Newer Trezor devices (since 2025) use the Trezor-Host protocol, see Trezor-Host protocol. If you wish to implement Trezor support you should use Connect or python-trezor, which will do all this hard work for you.
